A little lost girl
By Amber Rose West
I heard the footsteps getting louder and I knew they
were near.
Hoping that they wouldn't hurt me.
Hiding to save myself but only made it worst.
Hoping for my mothers hug or even her hand but got
cut to short.
As a little girl I felt so lost and confused.
Falling so short to what was called life.
As a little girl damaged and destroyed and conned into
the troubles of the adults.
The people that was supposed to be there only hurt me.
Use to the stuff they created for me.
Hands were so much smaller then theirs.
Their hands just covered me with scars.
Scars that only reminded me they were trying to
destroy me so young.
Scared to death as I held my bear wanting it all to
disappear.
As time went by the pain became her reality.
She knew her purpose and decided to run away.
At the end she tried to reach out for help but she was
finally free.
Her strength and her faith today is so strong.
She stood tall and held her ground and now she is
a survivor of it all.
The little lost girl is now found and overcoming it all.
